Real estate sales gains and falling listings made Windsor one of two Canadian cities a seller’s market, according to a new report by the Conference Board of Canada.

Only Oshawa, another automotive-industry city, joined  Windsor into seller’s territory last month, said the report, released Monday.

The conference board said average transaction prices rose in 19 markets in May  and were up in 21 on a year-to-year basis. “National sales levels jumped last month,” the report said. “Gains were widespread as markets thawed out after a tough winter.”

Now is the time to plant summer-blooming bulbs, perennials and annuals. Let’s not forget to tend to our lawn either!

Planting extra bulbs now is a great way to start your gardening. This will be a treat of bright colour bursts in the later summer months when early plants have begun to dwindle. To add some excitement to your landscape, a few choices are dahlia, gladiolus, canna, crocosmia, tuberous and begonia.

Nowadays the weather is warmer, you can lesser your utility bills and amaze your neighbours by watering in the early morning or around
